Current Vaccine Supply Status
Government programme: Paused. LP.8.1 doses expired early September 2026. The next batch is under procurement and expected in Q4 2026.
Lineages under consideration: LP.8.1, XFG, or NB.1.8.1 (per the Joint Scientific Committee's 2026–27 recommendation).
Private market: Spikevax (Moderna) LP.8.1 was previously the only private-sector option in Hong Kong, offered through our GP clinic Marina Medical. Availability for the new batch will be confirmed once supply arrives.
Who remains eligible for priority government vaccination?
- Community elderly aged 65+
- Persons aged 50–64 with chronic illness
- Residential care home residents
- Immunocompromised individuals
- Pregnant women
Note: Since March 2026, healthy adults aged 50–64 and persons aged 18–49 with chronic illness are no longer in the free booster priority group. Self-pay options may still be available — join the waitlist and we'll advise.

Vaccination Outreach Programme
55,000+ dosesTo fight against the pandemic, Asia Medical Specialists began engaging in community outreach services as early as March 2022. We are honoured to participate in the "Home Vaccination Service" launched by the Hong Kong government, in which over 55,000 vaccine doses have been administered to elderly persons aged 70 or above, and persons who have difficulties going out for vaccination due to illness or disability across the territory.
Private Clinic COVID-19 Vaccination Station
10,000+ people vaccinatedOur clinic became one of the first batches of 15 designated private clinic COVID-19 vaccination stations in September 2022, providing Sinovac and BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination services for Hong Kong residents. Until December 2022, the clinic has vaccinated over 10,000 people with the COVID-19 vaccine.
